About the Artist:
I have been painting since I was very young. I initially developed my artistic skills in classes at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Lublin. My real encounter with the easel and palette took place at the State High School of Fine Arts in Lublin, from which I graduated in 1995. I learned to look with an artist's eye, compose space on canvas, operate with color and texture at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, which I graduated with a diploma in painting in 2000. Regardless of my professional experience, I always return to art to look deep into my imagination. Painting is my passion. I paint for pleasure and out of a desire to express myself.

She paints mainly with acrylics on canvas and likes to experiment. She has developed her own technique sometimes combined with oil paint, giving the composition a non-accidental texture. I like to mix different media, to experiment. The subject matter of her works is rather narrow, and her inspiration is female emotions, which the artist wants to capture in her paintings. Therefore, her paintings exude the emotional side of femininity. This makes the women in her paintings appear in different series: "Angels of Cities," "Portrait of Nature" or "Portrait of a City." In Kamila Kowal's paintings you can also see a fascination with wonderful places, architecture, picturesque cities. This has resulted in series of paintings such as: "Bridges of great cities" and "Sighing".

Despite his already long creative work and hundreds of painted images, he can boast only a few individual exhibitions. It is true that he rarely exhibits his works in public. Simply put, the paintings quickly find buyers - including many from abroad.

Very important in her work is attention to detail. She devotes a lot of time to them on her canvases. The details, the technique of applying paint, the structure created, the number of layers, as well as the working tools - these are the components that make her paintings original and unique.

Painting is her way of life.

The path she has chosen has been and still is at times extremely difficult, but very important to her. She is happy to indulge in creative freedom and enjoys the path of an independent artist. She is not tied to any gallery on an exclusive basis and greatly appreciates her freedom of action. It is important to her to live in harmony with herself.

One of her dreams is to continue to create unhindered and to realize new ideas, which sometimes come unexpectedly. Another is to reach the largest possible audience looking for art for themselves. She also dreams of having her own gallery and is waiting to see what fate will bring her.

Her paintings are commissioned by people who want their homes, the interiors they inhabit to look custom and unique. She carries out individual orders.
