Biography
Painter, draftsman, and printmaker. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. He earned a degree in printmaking under Prof. Tadeusz Jackowski and in drawing in the studio of Prof. Jarosław Kozłowski. The professors under whose guidance he completed both diploma projects had a significant influence on the development of the painter’s artistic style. He honed his painting technique under Andrzej Łubowski and Prof. Andrzej Kurzawski. The artist himself said: “The technique of oil painting is closest to my heart because of the craftsmanship, ease, and freedom that colors give me, as well as the very way of depicting a given image. This style and technique allow me to achieve a state of concentration that unleashes a powerful surge of inspiration. I can create illusory paintings saturated with color and emotion, while still adhering to a specific form.” Women are the central theme in the artist’s work. Stunning in their beauty and sensuality, they inspire admiration—though sometimes also unease—as they emerge from the mist or step out of spiderwebs. The artist’s works have been exhibited at numerous events in Poland and around the world, including in Amsterdam, London, Rome, and New York.
