Biography
Visual artist who combines painting with spatial forms in her work. Using clay and acrylic medium, she creates biomorphic structures that extend compositions beyond the boundaries of the canvas. Her works are often a dialogue between representational art and abstraction. The main theme of her artistic explorations is women's independence and the process of self-determination. A recurring motif in her works are multiplied irises, a symbol of female eroticism and the power of nature. She is a two-time winner of the Gdansk Art Biennale and a multiple recipient of the Creative Fund - Cultural Scholarships of the City of Gdansk. From 2019 to 2024 she was associated with the Artists' Colony Foundation, and in 2021 she was also a supporting member of Halo Culture in Gdynia. She has presented her creative work in many solo and group exhibitions. She lives and works in Gdansk.
