Maja Majewska-Keane, Gdansk Impressions, acrylic on canvas

Born in Gdansk, where she graduated from the Third High School and attended private drawing and painting lessons as a student of Antoni Suchanek in Gdynia-Orłowo. In 1982 she received a diploma with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In 1984-1988 she taught art at an elementary school, and for the next 11 years she was a teacher at the High School of Art in Gdynia-Orlovo. From 1994 to 2000 she ran "Maja Portrait Studio" and from 2001 to 2004 she taught knowledge of art and culture at a high school and junior high school in Gdansk. To her credit, she has numerous individual and group exhibitions at home and abroad
