Painter and publicist, educated at the Kunsthochschule in Berlin (from 1917), continued his studies in Rome (1921-1926). From 1927 to 1929 he lived in Paris, and then in his native Lviv and Warsaw. Feuerring's early work is dominated by realistic portraits, still lifes, mountain landscapes, Italian architecture, stylistically alluding to Impressionism. Staying in Paris radically changed his painting, the artist began to create expressionist paintings inspired by the works of Emil Nolde and Oscar Kokoschka. In the thirties he painted in the spirit of colorism saturated with a strong expression of intense colors. He participated in exhibitions in France, in Poland he exhibited in Lviv and Warsaw. He was a member of the Union of Polish Artists in France, the Société "Paris Moderne", the Société des Peintres et Sculpteurs Professionels, the Société des Artistes Indépendentes, the Société de Vrais Indépendentes. He spent the war in a German oflag, emigrated to Australia in 1950 and settled in Sidney.
