painter, graphic artist, designer of postage stamps, academic teacher.He was a long-time teaching staff at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He received the title of professor. Since 1950 he was a member of the Association of Polish Artists. As a painter, he is known primarily for depicting scenes with horses, which were one of his favorite subjects. They appeared in paintings showing horse competitions, hunting and riding. He also painted them in battle scenes, which showed Napoleon Bonaparte's troops, among others. However, he did not shy away from painting landscapes or still lifes. He mainly used oil technique, but also created watercolors. In addition to painting, he was also involved in printmaking, including applied graphics. He designed stamps and postcards for the Polish Post Office.
