Jolanta Pęksa b. 1952 in Sopot. Since childhood associated with Zakopane where she lives and works. Married the son of Ewelina Pęksa, a prominent Zakopane artist. Member of the Association of Folk Artists.
Creates mainly painting on glass. Works with brush and pen. Multicolored, vivid and bright colors characterize her works. In her painting she refers to the traditions of the Podhale region and draws from everyday life as well as religious life.
Jolanta Pęksa's works are in the numerous collections of museums scattered throughout Poland: Ethnographic Museum in Krakow, Tatra Museum in Zakopane, State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw or Museum in Jelenia Gora.
Many times exhibited in Poland as well as abroad (Italy, France, Great Britain or Germany).
