Robert Motelski - born in 1977 in Warsaw. In 1997 he graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts of Warsaw. In 2002 he graduated with honors from the Painting Department of the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, under the direction of Professor Barbara Szubinska. Before that, he studied in the studios of Professors Antoni Fałat, Andrzej Sadowski and Ewa Pełka. He has participated in more than a hundred individual and group exhibitions. In 2004, he received the Scholarship of the Fund for Promotion of Creativity from the Ministry of Culture and Art. In 2008 he received the scholarship ,,Young Poland" from the National Cultural Center. His works can be found in many institutional and private collections at home and abroad, as well as in numerous publications, including , "Encyclopedia of Polish Painting" published by Kluszyński in 2012 and , "Landscape in Polish Painting" published by Arkady in 2017. His artistic interests focus on the study of landscape and on the innovative way of presenting it.
