Wiktor KORECKI

Studied at the Drawing School of N. Murashki in Kyiv. In 1921 he moved to Warsaw, where he opened his own studio, but it burned down during the Warsaw Uprising, and with it many of his works. In 1946 he settled in Komorow from where he moved to Milanowek, where he lived for the rest of his life. The subject of his paintings was mainly atmospheric landscapes. He used oil technique. His work was influenced by the paintings of J. Chelmonski and J. Rapacki.
