Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He debuted at exhibitions in the 1930s. His painting can be divided into two phases - pre-war works and works created after World War II. In the first, the building blocks of the painting are mainly intense colors with an extensive range applied with flair; in the second, color planes with rich texture, but almost monochromatic. He has participated in more than 100 solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He painted still lifes, portraits and landscapes. He was a member of the Cracow art group Grupa Dziesięciu. He exhibited at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow and at Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery.
