Agat - a jewelry stone grinding plant in Klodzko, which in 1974 became a subsidiary of Warsaw's Warmet. In addition to creating and implementing its own jewelry designs, the plant supplied polished stones (mainly cabochons) to studios throughout Poland. Among the most commonly used were jade and the very title agate.
The"Rytosztuka" Labor and Handicraft Cooperative was established in Poznań in 1950. Rytosztuka's artists drew inspiration from the jewelry of Henryk Grunwald and the art-deco graphics of the 1930s. Jewelry with the RYT signature is most often characterized by a simple, massive form and solid workmanship achieved using casting or die-casting techniques. With the political transformation, Rytosztuka was transformed into a company, with Wojciech Kruk becoming its main shareholder. Rytosztuka products were sold in WKruk stores until 2007.
