Condition: spine rubbed, pieces bound with secondary staples, minor creases and scuffs on edges of covers, minor discoloration and soiling.

Contents include erotic stories, reports from Parisian cabarets and theaters, fashion.
Numerous graphic illustrations in the text and 9 (plus 2 on covers) full-page photographic illustrations depicting half-naked and completely nude dancers. On the center pages, a double-page color illustration, "Une revue de Cigale," a photomontage showing dancers against oval backgrounds, photos: Waléry. La Cigale is a theater located near Place Pigalle that is still in operation today. It was founded in 1887 and featured performances by Mistinguette, Maurice Chevalier and Jean Cocteau.
