The creation of the work is related to the mental exploration of the phenomenon of the overwhelming excess of ideas, phenomena, ethical transformations. Surrounded by overproduction of objects and lack of time for reflection. We are surrounded by fix ideas, hijacking the reins of freedom with digital ai creations. They deprive us of the refuge of identity, the place where we used to be with our own self. The only rescue is to free ourselves, moving into a new existence, an unknown state....
Marek Lapis-A visual artist, photographer, lecturer, coordinator of cultural projects. Master of Arts, graduate from the Department of Photography at the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan, member of ZPAF. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region; Medal "For Merits to Polish Photography". Participant of Magnum workshops; Ryszard Horowitz Workshop. Lecturer of international photography workshops for people with intellectual disabilities and creator of the author's program of photography workshops for deaf people. He photographs niche environments, alienated from society. He is interested in man and his emotions. Author of books and photographic projects: "White and Red", including about how blind people see and how they perceive colors with multiple senses "Borders of Colors" and "OdNowa". Works in several hundred exhibitions and prestigious competitions: in Poland and the USA, Japan, India, UK, Indonesia, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Lithuania, Hungary and Italy. In October 2025 finalist of the global competition DETERMINATIONS WITHOUT LIMITS in the category ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION" in Dubai, exhibition at the AcccessAbilitiesExpo Congress.
