Banknote 1/2 Polish mark 1916, series B, "...jenerał", numbering: 8844941
A variant with an early clause, with the word "jenerał" erroneously used, but a very rare variant, where sheets with the earlier clause "jenerał" were overprinted with B-series numbering - typical of a later issue, with the correct clause "General". Wanted in any state of preservation, this variant is missing from many advanced collections. Only about 10 pieces known and listed.
A natural banknote with clear traces of circulation, not bad in appearance, with preserved natural colors.
The auction piece has the lowest known and listed number of this variety.
