Biography
The artist graduated from the University of Arts in Poznań, earning a diploma with honors in easel painting. He simultaneously studied art criticism, promotion, and art education, combining the written word with the visual image. Thanks to this combination, his works are imbued with meaning and symbolism. He is the author of three series of paintings created over the past quarter-century: CIRCLES, WINDOWS, and HANDS. His works address the passage of time from a very broad perspective—ranging from studies of the horizon and its soothing effect on our psyche to the inevitable passage of destructive time. Piotr’s painting has always balanced between abstraction and surrealism, always featuring strong figurative motifs. The artist has exhibited his works at venues including The Brick Line Gallery in London, K.E.O. Gallery in Athens, Galeria u Jezuitów in Poznań, and at the LabiRynT art festivals in Słubice and Frankfurt an der Oder.
