John II Casimir, 1661 GBA six-real coin, Lviv—very rare and very attractive
Type I (Ciura) bust—rare.
The Ślepowron coat of arms (of Jan Kazimierz Krasiński—Grand Treasurer of the Crown) is divided by a circular inscription on the obverse.
On the reverse, flanking the shield bearing the Snopek coat of arms (the coat of arms of the Vasa family), are the letters G B – A (the initials of Giovanni Battista Ammureti—the leaseholder of the Lviv mint).
A variant with plain coats of arms.
An oval-shaped cartouche bearing the Vasa coat of arms.
A variant featuring the king’s title IOAN CASI … POL & SVE in the rim on the obverse and … ARGEN SEX REG POL … in the rim on the reverse.

Minor flaws on the disc and metal, but for this type, the coin is beautifully struck and well-preserved. Beautiful detail. Luster and plenty of mint mirror finish . A very rare variety. In this condition, the coin is extremely rare and very difficult to find on the collector’s market. A beautiful piece to complete your collection.
