A two-part medical work by the famous Italian clinician Giovanni Battista de Monte, known as Montana (1498–1551), in which he compiled the thoughts and aphorisms of Hippocrates for the use of medical students. It is worth noting that, based on the notes and lectures of this famous Italian clinician—which also included explanations and commentaries on the works of the no less famous Roman anatomist Galen (130–200)— — were compiled and published by Walenty Sierpiński (Sierpowski) of Lublin (d. before 1600), a doctor of medicine. Good condition; soiled and with the title page glued; handwritten notes in the margins. Rare.
